Join us for a free Spotlight Talk about our beautiful Cat sculpture who looks like he’s prowling around the books in our Library. This sculpture was created by Tony Evans, a Liverpool born sculptor who specialises in animals in action using mainly copper and bronze.
This short Spotlight Talk will be delivered in an informal style to a standing audience (a few seats can be made available for those who need them).
Carol has been a volunteer with The Atkinson’s Collection since 2010 when she retired as a primary school teacher. Carol supports our education programme and installations. Carol says;
“One of the things I particularly enjoy is cleaning Big Cat, a unique copper sculpture by Tony Evans that never fails to intrigue and excite visitors to The Atkinson Library!”
