We welcome Taff Rapids, Cardiff’s bluegrass sensation who are taking the international stage by storm! These lads call their music “Blŵgras” (Welsh bluegrass) and they’re the real deal. Comprising Darren Eedens on banjo, Siôn Russell Jones on guitar, David Grubb on fiddle, and Clem Saynor on double bass, they blend traditional bluegrass with original compositions and Welsh-language songs. In 2023, they became the first Welsh group ever invited to perform at the IBMA World of Bluegrass Showcase in North Carolina – quite an achievement! They’ve just released their debut album “Blŵgras” and have been receiving rave reviews wherever they perform. This is contemporary bluegrass with a distinctly Celtic twist, and we guarantee you’ll be blown away.
