The Landing Gallery
The Landing is a Gallery showcasing affordable artwork from leading regional artists, with regularly changing exhibitions.

Volunteering
We currently recruiting for volunteers
Volunteers are a vital part of The Atkinson’s team, delivering excellent customer service and caring for our incredible collections, programme of events and exhibitions, workshops and more.
We’re currently recruiting two new volunteers for the roles below.

Education and Tour Volunteer
You will help with hosting school groups, ensuring they have an informative and enjoyable visit. You will mainly be involved in helping to facilitate planned school groups by giving a friendly welcome and providing scripted tours around the museum and galleries.

Gallery & Museum Engagement Volunteer (Arts & Craft)
You will encourage families to use The Art Box, helping to keep it tidy and well stocked. There is opportunity to also help with additional artist led craft workshops such as Make It! drop-in sessions.

Work Experience & Placements
We work with local schools, colleges and universities to deliver high quality work experience and placements
