Trisha has her hands full organising her son’s sixteenth birthday party a full-blown Wild West extravaganza complete with cowboy hats, line dancing, fake wanted posters and enough food to feed half the neighbourhood. Determined to give him a birthday he will never forget, she throws herself into the preparations, even though nothing seems to be going according to plan.

As if the party preparations weren’t stressful enough, Trisha is also nervously preparing for the karaoke finals at her local pub, The Battalion. She is convinced that this could be her moment to shine, but nerves, rival singers and a questionable choice of song threaten to derail her big performance before she even reaches the microphone.

Then, just when she thinks the day cannot get any more complicated, her ex-husband turns up looking for his son. His unexpected arrival brings old arguments, unresolved feelings, and a whole host of awkward questions back into Trisha’s life. With the birthday party fast approaching and the karaoke final hanging in the balance, the girls go into full damage-control mode.

Determined to keep Trisha’s ex away from the celebrations, they hatch a series of increasingly outrageous plans to distract him, confuse him and send him packing. But with gossip spreading, neighbours getting involved and every carefully laid plan threatening to fall apart, the girls soon discover that keeping a secret in their community is practically impossible.

As the cowboy-themed party descends into chaos and the karaoke competition becomes more personal than anyone expected, Trisha must decide whether she can finally stand up for herself, face the past and take control of her own story. With friendship, family and a generous helping of Scouse spirit on her side, she may just discover that the biggest battle of the day is not on the karaoke stage or at the birthday party but within herself.

Packed with outrageous Scouse humour, family drama, gossip, romance, rivalry and neighbourly chaos, this is a riotous comedy about four women who never know when to keep their noses out — and who always seem to find themselves in the middle of everyone else’s business.
