The Atkinson, in partnership with The Arts Society Southport, invited young artists from across Sefton to submit one original piece of artwork to this exciting competition. We are delighted by the fantastic response and would like to thank everyone who entered and shared their creativity with us.

The online exhibition is now live, showcasing all of the wonderful entries received. You can view it here.

Winning and highly commended artists will also have their work displayed at The Atkinson in a special exhibition from 18 July – 29 August 2026.

We encourage everyone to explore the exhibition and celebrate the creativity of young artists from across the borough.
